This Optical module has 40GHz bandwidth and the performance necessary to support emerging characterization and measurement requirements for OC 768/STM 256 signals. It will enable network equipment makers to develop 40Gb/s components and transmission systems. This unit module’s high optical bandwidth, near Gaussian frequency response, and exceptional impulse and step response, ensure that it contributes a minimum of aberrations and signal distortion when acquiring 40Gb/s signals. With this unit’s selectable bandwidth, lets the user choose optimal noise vs. bandwidth performance to accurately characterize the signal.
