Singer Instrumentation Park Voltage Divider
The HVD uses precision matched resistors for high accuracy. The high voltage section is similar to those on the HVS High Voltage Standard.
The low resistance section is housed separately. It contains a network of precision resistors to provide two ratio outputs. An impedance matching switch selects for a 1 megohm ac meter. Output connectors are BNC type.
Simliar to the HVS,a guard structure reduces leakage errors by shielding each resistor at its nominal voltage. The guard structure forms a secondary divider with a separate output to monitor voltage during tests.
The high voltage resistors are enclosed in an acrylic tube, protecting them from dust and contamination. A low voltage fan exhausts heat out the top of the divider.
