Keysight 1164A Miniature Passive Probe, 10:1, 10 MOhm, 2 m

August 10, 2018

The Agilent 1164A miniature passive probe is a small, rugged, general purpose probe for use with the Agilent 54810A, Agilent 54815A, Agilent 54820A and Agilent 54825A Infiniium oscilloscopes. It is fully compatible with the Agilent AutoProbe interface which completely configures the Agilent Infiniium oscilloscope for the probe. The probe is built and tested for high reliability and comes with a 3 year warranty. The cable has a Kevlar strengthener for added pull strength. The general purpose retractable hook tip is made from a durable music wire and probe tips are replaceable. The Agilent 1164A probe comes with a wide range of accessories including an Agilent Browser that installs over the probe tip. The Browser utilizes a crown point pogo pin that digs into solder and absorbs small hand movements, so is less likely to slip. There’s also an alligator lead for general purpose probing, 4 spring grounds for high frequency measurements, a socketed ground lead and IC clips for probing surface mount devices. The handle of the probe can be removed, leaving a miniature probe body with a narrow and sharp tip ideal for probing dense circuit boards.

Keysight 1158A 4 GHz Active Probe

August 10, 2018

The Agilent 1158A 4 GHz active probe offers R & D engineers the performance they need to probe small geometries in hard-to-reach areas on the DUT. These probes were designed specifically for the Infiniium Series oscilloscopes. As the speeds in your design increase, you may notice more overshoot, ringing, and other perturbations. when connecting an oscilloscope probe. Probes form a resonant circuit where they connect to the device. If this resonance is within the bandwidth of the oscilloscope probe you are using, it will be difficult to determine if the measurement perturbations are due to your circuit or the probe. Agilent is the only company that has overcome the resonance formed by the connection of a probe to a device. The Agilent 1158A probes optimize performance to make your job easier. Combined with the Agilent 54846A Infiniium scope, the 1158A 4 GHz probe offers you a full 2.25 GHz of system bandwidth, giving you accurate insight into your high-speed devices.
