Description
The Newport BK-5 Locking Kinematic Base is really a mini breadboard, and with the locking kinematic system, you can build up a complete optical sub-system and, when mounted on your optical table or breadboard allows you remove and replace that sub-system in EXACTLY the same position. This is due to Newports kinematic system that uses 3 ball-bearings which mate into matching hardened V-shaped seats. In essence, this is a removable mini-breadboard, with 1/4-20 holes on one-inch centers.
