Description
The Astro-Med UNIV-6 is an isolated, Single-Ended Voltage Module for the Astro-Med TMX signal modules mainframe. This six channel universal module voltage and DC bridge offers the following specifications:
• Input Range: 0.5 to 800V full scale
• Maximum Input: 250 Vrms
• Bandwidth: 100 kHz
• Specified ranges: 100mv fs to 800 vfs
• Channels (per module): 6
• Maximum Sample Rate (per channel): 800 kHz (400 kHz with TMX-E)
• Isolation: 250 VRMS or DC, Cat II
The Astro-Med UNIV-6 accepts a wide range of voltage inputs (5 mV full scale to 800 Volts full scale) leading to its reputation as a universal input module. Apart from voltage recording, the UNIV-6 also accepts full, half, and quarter bridge inputs. The UNIV-6 is capable of providing up to 10 Volts DC excitation for transducer applications. Furthermore, the UNIV-6 also includes a multi-purpose frequency counter for monitoring Hz, RPM, distance, length, shaft angle, etc. All channels in the UNIV-6 are isolated from each other, as well as from the TMX chassis.
