The Tektronix P6246 enable users to make time domain or frequency domain measurements on high bandwidth signals commonly found in disk drive, digital IC design (RAMBUS) and communication applications (Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE-1394 Firewire and Fibre Channel). The small probe head geometry and assorted probe tip accessories allow these probes to easily accommodate manual probing of surface mount devices while maintaining high CMRR. The P6246 are ideal for design verification of disk drive read channel electronics and timing analysis for troubleshooting ground bounce problems associated with high speed logic. They can also be used for pulse shape or cross talk compliance testing of high speed communication signals.

The Agilent 34952A module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit allows great flexibility for a variety of sense and control applications. It combines four 8-bit channels of digital input and output, a 100 kHz gated totalizer, and two ±12V analog outputs all on a single earth-referenced module. The digital inputs and totalizer input may be included in a scan. Alarm limits for the digital and event counter inputs are evaluated continuously, capturing and logging alarm conditions even between scans. The digital I/Os support TTL levels. These channels can be used with an external power supply to control external devices or to sense limit switch and digital bus status. There are no complex handshake modes. The analog outputs can output up to +/-12V or 10mA DC with 1mV of resolution. They can be used to source bias voltages to your device under test, to control your analog programmable power supplies, or use the outputs as setpoints for your control systems. Standard 50-pin Dsub connectors allow for use with standard cables, terminal blocks, or mass interconnect solutions.

Keysight 34901A 20-Channel Multiplexer (2/4-wire) Module

The Agilent 34901A module for the 34970A Data Acquisition/Switch Unit is the most versatile multiplexer for general purpose scanning. It combines dense, multi-function switching with 60 channel/second scan rates to address a broad spectrum of data acquisition applications. Two- and four-wire channels can be mixed on the same module. Two additional fused inputs (22 channels total) route up to 1A of current to the internal DMM, allowing ac and dc current measurements without the need for external shunt resistors.
