The 4352B is normally used with a low noise signal generator to make up a 4352S test system. This system can evaluate the characteristics of VCOs and PLLs that are essential to designing local oscillators used in RF wireless communications equipment. This system can operate in either Signal Analyzer or VCO tester modes up to 3 GHz. When configured with the HP 43521A downconverter unit, the system can operate from 10 MHz to 12.6 GHz. The 4352B provides and controls the DC power supply, the low noise DC control voltage source and the 1kHz signal source necessary for VCO tuning characterizing. The model 4352B has excellent phase noise performance (-157 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset). Automatic measurements capability and power analysis functions are included.

The HP 3585B Spectrum Analyzer delivers high performance where it counts—at baseband frequencies. With very high accuracy, resolution, and dynamic range, the HP 3585B is the best solution for signal analysis at the critical frequencies comprising voice, video, or digital information.
In today’s high-speed, high-density information processing systems, maintaining the integrity of data signals requires more measurement performance than ever before. The HP 3585B provides 80 to 100 dB of spurious-free dynamic range, a sharp 3 Hz resolution bandwidth, and a 20 Hz to 40.1 MHz frequency range to easily cover most information bandwidths. Fully synthesized tuning (including sweeps) and typical amplitude accuracy to ± 0.25 dB ensure complete measurement confidence.
Keysight 34924A 70-Channel Reed Multiplexer
The HP/Agilent 34924A module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit is a high-density, high-speed multiplexer for general purpose scanning. It uses reed relays to achieve scan rates up to 500 channels-per-second. Use this module for high-throughput automated test applications as well as high-speed data logging and monitoring tasks.
2- and 4-wire channels may be mixed on the same module. Standard 78-pin Dsub connectors allow for use with standard cables, terminal blocks, or mass interconnect solutions.
