The Agilent 8981A analyzes a signals’s modulation in receivers using I/Q channels. The unit displays the I and Q either on a vector diagram or versus time. It also analyzes the the analog I and Q signals, but because it contains a built in demodulator it can also take the IF signal and the coherent reference inputs. The 8981A contains internal 35 MHz baseband I and Q filters.
